Worth over £7500 (or $14,000 at today prices), the tea bag is believed to the world’s most expensive tea bag. The tea bag was hand-made by British jewelry specialist Boodles and contains 280 diamonds. It is filled with regular PG Tips tea.
The tea bag was created in 2005 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of PG Tips. The diamond tea bag went on a tour of shopping centers in the UK. The tea bag was used to raise money for Manchester (England) Children’s Hospitals.
